Multi URL Opener
Getting started
- Install the extension from your browser's store (or load it as an unpacked extension during testing).
- Open the popup by clicking the toolbar icon (or press
Ctrl+Shift+O/Cmd+Shift+O). - Paste your URLs, one per line. Bare domains like
example.comautomatically gethttps://added. - Click Open. That's it — no account needed for Instant mode.
On first run a short card offers a Try an example button, which loads three sample links so you can see it work immediately.
Signing in (optional)
Open Settings — the ⚙ button in the side panel, or the extension's Options page — and use either method:
- Connect account — signs you in through your JSKAPPS account in the browser; you never handle a key.
- API key — paste a key you created in your JSKAPPS dashboard (it starts with
jsk_live_). Scope the key to this product.
What each plan unlocks:
- Instant (no account): all open modes, big-batch controls, cleanup/ordering, import/export, basic number-range patterns, 3 saved lists.
- Free (registered): search/SEO mode, tracking cleanup, folders, cross-device sync, 25 saved lists.
- Pro (subscription): advanced templating (letters, value lists, dates, named tokens), environment profiles, scheduling, unlimited lists.
Using Multi URL Opener
- Open in different ways. Use the Mode dropdown for new tabs, a new window per link, all links in one window, group-by-domain, a single tab group, one-by-one (into a reused tab), or an incognito window.
- Find the advanced options. Everything beyond the mode lives in the Advanced drawer under the Open button: delay, lazy loading, ordering, "open first N", auto-close, per-batch windows, tracking cleanup, templating and search.
- Handle big batches. Turn on Lazy-load so tabs load only when focused, set a Delay between tabs, cap with Open first N, or open in windows of N. You can Stop, Pause, and Resume mid-run.
- Watch for suggestions. When you paste something with a pattern, a tracking parameter, a very long list, or lines that aren't links, a small chip appears offering the matching tool in one click.
- Bring links in. Use the Add menu: from your open tabs, from links on the current page, extract URLs out of pasted text, or import a
.txt/.csv. You can also drag a file onto the box. - Get links out. Use the Export menu: copy to clipboard, save as
.txtor JSON, or export to a bookmarks folder. - Save & reuse. In the side panel's Lists tab, name a list, add tags or a folder, and click it any time to reload it. Turn on sync in Settings to share lists across devices.
- Use the workspace. The side panel keeps the editor on screen with tabs beneath it for Lists, History, Templates, Environments and Schedules — only the ones your plan and settings enable.
- Generate URLs. Enable Templating and use number ranges like
site.com/page/[1-50]or[001-050]on any plan; letters, value lists such as{us,uk,de}, date ranges and named tokens are Pro. - Automate (Pro). In Schedules, auto-open a saved list on startup, every N minutes, daily at a time, or once at a set time.
- Make it yours. In Settings, pick a theme (system/light/dark), switch off any feature you don't use, set your open defaults, or export/reset your settings.
- Work faster. Press
Ctrl/Cmd+Kfor the command palette.
Troubleshooting
- The Open button did nothing. Reopen the popup or side panel and try again. If a batch is large, enable Lazy-load first.
- "Sign in" appears on a control. That feature is part of the free (registered) or Pro plan. Open Settings to connect a free account or upgrade.
- Fewer links opened than expected. Check Open first N in the Advanced drawer — it caps the batch. Duplicates and invalid lines are also removed; the counter under the editor shows how many were skipped or de-duplicated.
- A control I used has disappeared. It may be switched off in Settings → Features. Turn it back on there.
- A line was skipped. Lines that aren't valid links (or use blocked schemes like
javascript:/chrome:) are counted as skipped and never opened. Addhttps://or fix the line. - "Key invalid or revoked." The API key no longer exists in your JSKAPPS dashboard. Create a new one and paste it in Settings → API key.
- "This key is scoped to a different product." The key was scoped to another app. Create a key scoped to Multi URL Opener (or an account-wide key).
- Incognito didn't open. Allow the extension in incognito from your browser's Extensions page, then use the Incognito window mode.
- Bookmarks / schedules asked for a permission. Those features request a permission the first time you use them (bookmarks, alarms). Allow it to continue, or skip the feature.
- Sync isn't showing lists on another device. Sync requires a free account and your browser's built-in account sync to be on; changes may appear the next time you open the extension.
Frequently asked questions
Is any of my data sent to a server?
No — unless you sign in, in which case the extension contacts JSKAPPS only to verify your plan. Your URLs and lists are never sent anywhere.
I rotated my API key — will I lose my saved lists and history?
No. Your data is tied to your JSKAPPS account, not to a particular key, so you can revoke and replace keys as often as you like and everything stays put.
What happens if someone else signs in on my browser?
If a different JSKAPPS account signs in, the extension resets itself to a clean state — the previous user's lists, history and settings are erased so no data carries between accounts. Signing back in with your own account on a shared browser will not restore data that was cleared this way.
Can I export my lists?
Yes. Use the Export menu for the current list (.txt or JSON), and Settings → Data to export your settings. Saved-list backup/restore is on the roadmap.
How do I remove my data?
Delete individual lists in the side panel, clear history, use Settings → Data → Reset to defaults, remove your key in Settings → API key, or uninstall the extension — uninstalling clears its local storage.
