Your trade history, analysed like a quant would, inside your own spreadsheet.
Paste a trade list. Get 45 performance and risk metrics, an equity curve, a drawdown profile, Monte Carlo resampling and out-of-sample testing, as real sheets in your own workbook. Nothing is uploaded, because nothing needs to be.
TradeProof reads the trades you already have. A broker export, a TradingView strategy
tester CSV, or rows you typed yourself. It maps the columns, tells you what it found, and
lets you correct anything it guessed.
Then it answers the question a journal cannot: not what did I trade, but did this
strategy actually work, and how badly could it have gone?
- 45 metrics, each computed three ways: all trades, longs only, shorts only. Profit
factor, expectancy, Sharpe, Sortino, SQN, payout ratio, drawdown in money and percent. - Monte Carlo: resamples your own trades thousands of times to show the range of
outcomes that same edge produced, including Risk of Ruin. - What-if scenarios: what the record looked like without your three best trades, at half
position size, or long-only. - Out-of-sample and walk-forward: split the history and compare the halves, so a result
is not just a description of the period you fitted to. - Market phases you define: your own date ranges, grouped by entry time.
- Portfolio: several strategies side by side, with a correlation matrix and whether
combining them actually reduced the drawdown. - A report you can send: download as a self-contained HTML file or save as PDF. On a paid
plan it carries your own brand and logo instead of ours.
Your data does not move. The only network request TradeProof ever makes is a licence
check, and it sends nothing but your key. Without a key it makes no request at all.
For educational purposes only. Not financial advice.
How it works
Select your trades
a range, or the whole sheet.
Check the mapping
TradeProof guesses each column and flags the ones it was unsure of.
Choose your analyses
the settings sheet holds every option, so a report is reproducible months later by whoever opens the file.
Build the report:
new sheets appear beside your data. Your own sheet is never modified.
Download it
HTML or PDF, self-contained, opens offline.
Features
Nothing is uploaded
the analysis runs inside your own spreadsheet. The only request TradeProof makes is a licence check that sends your key and nothing else, and with no key entered it makes no request at all.
45 metrics, computed three ways
every figure for all trades, longs only and shorts only, because a strategy that only works in one direction looks healthy in aggregate.
Monte Carlo
resamples or reorders your own trades thousands of times to show the spread of results that same set produced, including Risk of Ruin. A fixed seed means the same settings reproduce the same table.
What-if scenarios
what the record looked like without your three best trades, at half position size, or long only. Each measured against the same unmodified baseline.
Out-of-sample and walk-forward
split the history and compare the halves, or divide it into equal consecutive windows, so a result is not just a description of the period you fitted to.
Market phases you name
your own date ranges, grouped by entry time, because that is when the decision was made.
Portfolio
up to 8 strategies side by side, with a correlation matrix, a diversification ratio, and the count of months in which every strategy lost at once.
Reads what you already have
broker and platform exports, one row per trade or separate entry and exit rows. Leading zeros and 18-digit order ids survive as text.
A report you can send
a self-contained HTML file or a PDF that opens offline. On a paid plan it carries your brand, colours and logo instead of ours.

Frequently asked questions
Does my trade data get uploaded anywhere?+
No. The analysis runs inside your spreadsheet. The only request TradeProof makes is a licence
check to api.jskapps.com, which sends your key and nothing else. With no key entered, it
makes no network request at all.
Do I need an account to try it?+
No. Without any account you can analyse up to 100 trades, with every metric and chart. A free
JSKAPPS account removes that limit.
What file formats does it read?+
It does not read files. It reads what is already in your sheet. Paste or import your export
first, and TradeProof maps the columns. It handles one row per trade and separate entry/exit
rows, and it has been tested against TradingView strategy-tester exports.
Is this a trading journal?+
No, and deliberately. A journal records trades as you take them. TradeProof analyses a history
you already have and asks whether the strategy held up.
Why is Monte Carlo a paid feature?+
It is the most computationally expensive part of the product and the one that answers the
hardest question: how much of a result was the edge and how much was the order the trades
happened to arrive in.
Does the same licence cover Excel and Google Sheets?+
Yes. One purchase, one key, both hosts.
Can I get my money back?+
Yes. The JSKAPPS refund policy applies. Because the free tier removes the volume limit, you
can run your full history before paying anything.
Is this financial advice?+
No. Every figure is a standard, publicly defined quantitative measure computed by arithmetic
from your own trades. The product expresses no opinion and makes no recommendation. For
educational purposes only.
